Introduction - A Plan Unique to Every Body
The Remedial Massage Treatment Plan is a structured program designed to support your recovery through a series of scheduled massage sessions. This plan includes 2 to 5 appointments over a period of up to 10 weeks, with each session tailored to your condition by an Australian-board-certified Remedial Massage Therapist.
Remedial Massage vs Relaxation Massage
Proper Remedial Massage involves an evaluation process to identify common and complex neuro-muscular problems thoroughly and to address them using various manual soft-tissue techniques. This treatment method aims to address the root cause of your problems.
In contrast, relaxation massage aims to "not go too deep" and offer a more gentle and superficial approach to soothe common aches and discomfort. This approach aims to treat surface-level symptoms.
Benefits of Remedial Massage Treatment Plan
Simply put, Remedial Massage WORKS to solve common muscular problems, but not if you treat it as a one-off massage!
The treatment plan aims to evaluate your symptoms and to set goals to get you well in stages.
Our therapists will also provide you with home advice and lifestyle recommendations to help with or prevent your symptoms.
Each treatment session allows the therapist to understand your condition better and to adapt the treatment as you progress.
It is not necessary for a treatment plan to solve a specific problem; some patients use our treatment plan program as a form of monthly or bimonthly "maintenance" to keep up with their lifestyles.
Why do you offer Treatment Plans?
Our clinic is specialised in providing massage services that you would not typically find in a "shopping centre massage shop". Our clinical approach to solving your muscular problems is what makes us unique.
When you present with a problem, we take the time to listen and understand your condition. Various physical and orthopaedic tests are used to confirm your symptoms and condition. We then provide the necessary and relevant remedial massage therapy to help with your symptoms.
While this is not well-known, the process of providing treatment plans is certainly taught in accredited massage institutions throughout Australia.
We also work closely with other healthcare and age-care professionals such as GPs, Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Nurses, and Occupational Therapists to understand your symptoms and to develop a treatment plan to meet your physical goals.
How does the Treatment Plan Work?
If you have opted for the Remedial Massage option, a thorough assessment would have been provided and your symptoms addressed.
Either at the beginning or at the end of your treatment, you may be offered a Treatment Plan from your therapist to solve your muscular problems.
Your therapist will set a start date, an end date, and the total number of sessions tailored to your needs. The maximum duration and sessions for a treatment plan are 10 weeks and 5 appointments.
You will need to pay for each session individually, upfront or lump-sum payments are not accepted.
Throughout the plan, your therapist will assess your symptoms at every session and may adjust the treatment plan accordingly. A new treatment plan may also be offered.
Get up to 10% off per session only when you request for a Treatment Plan Rebate Program!
Accumulate credits with our rebate program.
Only upon request and with a valid treatment plan, you can accumulate credits per treatment plan session and apply all accumulated credits during the final appointment of the treatment plan as a discount.
How much will you earn in credits?
You will only earn credits for attended and completed individual sessions. The credit earned is based on the session duration that you have paid for:
- 30 / 45 minutes: $7.50
- 60 / 75 minutes: $11.50
- 90 / 105 / 120 minutes: $16.50
When will the credits be applied as a discount?
Having attended all treatment plan sessions within the treatment plan period (end date), the accumulated credits will be added up and applied as a discount during the payment of your final treatment plan session.
All the specific conditions that you will need to meet to qualify for this program.
- Request for a "Treatment Plan Rebate Program" at the START of your treatment plan session/consultation.
- Request for a form that indicates the start date, end date, and number of sessions needed. The maximum duration and sessions for a treatment plan are 10 weeks and 5 appointments.
- Attend and pay for ALL the sessions of the treatment plan before the end date.
- To not use any gift vouchers or gift cards to pay for any treatment plan session/consults.
Important to know.
To enjoy the benefits of the rebate program, all scheduled sessions must be completed within your treatment plan period. Rescheduling any appointment beyond the termination date will make you ineligible for the rebate. While you’re free to opt out at any time, doing so will forfeit any accumulated credits. Please note that this offer cannot be combined with other promotions or gift cards, but it can be used alongside eligible private health funds.
