Specific Targeted Relief

Overview
Sometimes, it is not your whole body, it is just one spot that is holding you back.
That pinch under your shoulder blade? The tension right at the base of your skull? A knot in your hip that won’t quit being tight? It may not stop you from moving, but it makes every inch of a movement harder.
Targeted massage helps release precise areas of dysfunction, relieve localised pain or stiffness, and reset movement in that specific zone without needing a full-body session.
This type of treatment is focused and functional, designed to get to the bottom of the problem.
During the session
- We will ask you to describe what you’re feeling and not just where it is, but when it shows up.
- Then we assess what’s around that area because most of the time, the body’s pain isn’t isolated. You may feel pain in your shoulder, but the contributor might be along your neck or your ribs.
- We use techniques like trigger point therapy, fascial release, IASTM tools, or muscle energy technique (MET)—always adapted to your pain tolerance and feedback.
Treatment Recommendations
- 30 minutes – Best for one-zone focused care (e.g. shoulder blade, neck, calf knot, wrist tension)
- 60 minutes – Ideal if the issue is spreading slightly (e.g. neck + upper back, glute + hamstring)
- 90 minutes – Recommended when multiple patterns are linked but still within a specific chain (e.g. hip → knee → ankle tightness)
We often suggest 2–3 sessions spaced 1 week apart to fully release the tension, then maintenance monthly or as needed.
If the issue is recurring, we will then help you identify postural, movement, or stress-related factors keeping it active.
